Business Analysis Work experience Training

A business analyst ensures projects deliver the right value for the business!. Business analyst solves
problems for the organisation by making proper root-cause analysis is conducted to ensure that the right
problems rather than symptoms are being dealt with. The business analyst works with Subject Matters
Experts and other business stakeholders to think out the problem, elicit requirements via workshops,
interviews and document analysis to ensure the right solutions are delivered.
At SkillSpecCareer, we believe business analysis should do what the craft says – analyse! A business analyst
should understand the nitty-gritty of investigating a business problem and recommends solutions laced with
empirical facts to delivery. A good business analyst is the one who invests in his ability to uncover issues in
the ‘unknown’ or ‘unfamiliar’ terrains. So we believe a business analyst who is worth his salt is able to work in
any business, sector or industry and on any kind of project. The right analyst should work perfectly well on
business change focused and technical projects or even in business as usual.
Our business analysis course takes candidates through the rudiments of business analysis across the full
project lifecycle. We expose our candidates to standard best practices techniques like UML, BPMN, Value
Chain analysis and get them to work on projects working with project managers and technical consultants.
After 4 weekends of trainings, we ensure that our candidates are made to work on live projects with our
consultants in our sister companies-SkillSpec ICT Ltd and SkillSpec Consulting services. They will be
introduced to eliciting requirements on digital projects and collaborating with technical stakeholders. The
candidates will be expected to work on preparing business plans, justifiable business cases, feasibility studies
as well as option analysis. They will be part of user acceptance testing, business readiness assessment to
service introduction, benefit realisation plan to closing out of the projects.
Some of the industry standard tools that we use for our business analysis trainings are: Microsoft Visio,
Bizzagie, Excel, Power Point,, SharePoint, Confluence, Jira, Xmind and Basecamp.
